Within the System Module there are several settings available to you this will affect various settings concerning accounts, notifications and miscellaneous settings in Q-Pulse Cloud. Within this article we will be discussing the various settings and what each setting does.
This article is split into the following sections:
1. Navigation
- To amend these settings, you will need to navigate to Home, then System and then Settings.
- You will be taken to the System settings page as per the image below:
- Below are the following sections and options you can use in the System Settings module.
- To confirm any changes to settings, click Save.
2. Accounts Settings
Option | Description |
Electronic Signature | User will be required to reauthorise their logged-on identity to sign for certain system changes. |
Session Timeout | Used by application to set session time out (unit in seconds) |
3. Notification Settings
Option | Description |
Live action reminders | Used by the application as a trigger to send email reminder for issued actions. |
Action reminder count | This is the number of repeat email reminders sent for issued actions (the range for this option is: 1-10) |
Action reminder period (days) | This is the number of business days from an issued action target date for the sending of an email reminder. Negative number means that the reminder will be triggered before the target date (the range for this option is -10 to 10) |
Action reminder interval (days) | This is the number of business days between sending repeat email reminders for issued actions (the range for this option is 1-15) |
Action reminder period (hours) | This is the number of hours from an issued action target date for the sending of an email reminders. Negative number means that the reminder will be triggered before the target date (the range for this option is-48 to 48) |
Action reminder interval (hours) | This is the number of hours between sending repeat email reminders for issued actions (the range for this option is 1 to 72) |
4. Miscellaneous Settings
Option | Description |
Dashboard chart permissions | Applies user permissions to Summary to view of dashboard widgets |
Report period | Sets the default period (months) used by date ranges in reports |
Show action results history | Show action results history |
Use standards | When set, enables the classification of documents by standard(s) |
Use organisational areas | When set, enables the classification of organisational area(s) |
Support email address | The support email address. Display in the footer. |
Support telephone number | Helpdesk support number |
